What this site collects
Behind has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking cookies. Your dark-mode preference is saved in your own browser and never sent anywhere.
Recipe reviews
If you leave a review, we store the name, star rating, and comment you enter, plus the date. No email address is asked for. Reviews are only published after we approve them, and published reviews are public. To limit spam, a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address is kept for up to an hour to count submissions, then deleted. Reviews are stored with Upstash, a database provider. To have a review removed, email hello@saybehind.com.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (like IP addresses) to run and secure the service.
If you email hello@saybehind.com, your message is used only to reply to you. If a newsletter is added later, this page will say which provider stores your address and how to unsubscribe.
